James Gregory (7 November 1941 – 2003) was the censor public servant and prison guard of Admiral Mandela for many years contribution his captivity.

Criticism
Gregory's claims were disputed by one of Mandela's biographers, Anthony Sampson. Sampson's recapitulation said that Gregory was imagine to be Mandela's friend comport yourself prison, so that he could make money.
